Compassionate Inquiry - Therapy/COunselling

I practice from a compassionate inquiry  approach, to support you to develop a sense of inner safety and confidence to be with and grow through your current life experiences.

The compassionate inquiry approach (CI) invites you into a deeper understanding of your patterns and responses, in relation to your thoughts, emotions, body responses and true self. During each session we will explore the state of your body, mind, and emotions through inquiring about your thoughts, hidden assumptions, memories and body sensations. Sessions will include an exploration of your current inner/outer health resources and unique ways for you to continue to support your health and wellness.

This will happen through conversation, learning about the body-mind-emotion connection and the practice of new skills.

Grief Therapy

After many losses through a lifetime grief accumulates as a silent weight in our body, minds, emotions and spirit. It's the backpack that you keep wearing yet very seldom put down or notice.

Grief is a normal reaction to loss. Each person's grief journey is unique and the path to healing needs time and space.

I support individuals in learning about the impacts of grief and accumulated losses over their life, offer them tools to connect with unresolved emotions, and help them navigate life's biggest challenges: death, divorce, job change, loss of community, moves, illness and addictions.

Through this exploration together, if and when you are ready we explore the aspects of inner calm and alignment after a loss, stepping stones to reengage in life and skills to support your overall health.

Why BeGIN with a Consult Conversation prior to stepping in?

I value my time and yours. An initial 15 minute phone or online video conversation is a chance for you to ask your questions, for us to clarify the boundaries of the therapeutic relationship, and to see if working with me is a good fit for you.
